About Dante

A life of inquiry.

Dante Marchini in a quiet moment by a stone house
Teacher · learner · researcher

Dante began his professional life as a teacher of physical education and movement.

His enduring curiosity about how people learn — and how understanding becomes lived experience — led him through psychology, yoga, Tai Chi and different approaches to working with the body.

In the late 1980s he encountered the Trager Approach, which became part of his experience of movement, touch and learning.

More than three decades later, that inquiry is still alive. Dante teaches internationally and continues to draw from NLP, Ericksonian hypnosis and Postural Integration. What he shares is less a technique than an invitation: from thinking to sensing, from effort to ease.

The approach

Dante meeting a participant with focused, unhurried attention

A different quality of attention.

Feel yourself.

Before technique, before an answer, there is the simple fact of sensing what is here.

Trust what you feel.

Learning begins when effort softens and experience is allowed to speak for itself.

Your state matters.

The quality of contact changes when we stop trying to make something happen.

Dante speaking with an open, attentive gesture

Not a method to follow.

An invitation to meet what is already here. To move from doing to sensing, from control to trust, from knowing to the freedom of “I don’t know.”

Sometimes the most honest thing is to pause, look out of the window, and feel.
